Last Friday 17th March we presented our most recent plans, developed by architects Rural Office as part of our Project Viability study. The event was held at the lovely Café at the Track in Tairgwaith. This was part of our consultation and community engagement for the project. In attendance were future stakeholders and supporters, representatives from local businesses, councillors, support agencies and community volunteers. Also present was the leader of Plaid Cymru, Adam Price, who has given his full support for this inspiring project.
There will be more community engagement events throughout the year, including an open meeting to present plans to the wider community to be held at Brynaman Cinema in May. These events are supported by The National Lottery Community Fund. More details to follow.
The event was reported on by Rob Harries of Wales Online, which has really helped to raise the profile of our project. https://bit.ly/Lidoplans

The Project Viability study was funded by the Architectural Heritage Fund with match funding from the Cwarter Bach Community Council.
