Brynaman Baths: Stories, Plans and Possibilities

You’re invited to a special two‑day community event taking place The Black Mountain Centre exploring the past, present and future of Brynaman Baths/Lido.

You may have heard that things are happening behind the scenes… and the answer is YES!

We have received Welsh Government funding to carry out a full feasibility study — the next major step toward a planning application to reopen the Lido.

Presentation Times

We’d love you to join us for the main presentations, where we’ll share updates on the feasibility study, the work happening behind the scenes, and the next steps:

– Friday at 11:30am

– Saturday at 10:30am

A buffet will be served after each presentation, and you’re welcome to stay, chat, and ask questions.

Hiraeth y Goedwig – Saturday Family Sessions

Hannah from Hiraeth y Goedwig will be running two drop‑in creative wellbeing sessions on Saturday:

– 10:30am – 11:30am

– 1:00pm – 2:00pm

Activities include pigment paint making, nature journal making, and gentle nature‑based wellbeing activities.

 Drop‑In Anytime

If you can’t make the presentation times, that’s absolutely fine — you can drop in at any point during the event for a cuppa, a chat, and a look at the displays.

What else is happening?

Come along to:

• Meet the committee and the consultants working on the project

• View old photos and share your memories

• Learn about the feasibility study and where we are right now

• Enjoy refreshments and a buffet

• Be part of shaping the future of Brynaman Baths/Lido
